I was talking to Granite the other week on how I really don’t run standalone applications anymore on my PC and do almost everything in the browser… except for managing my money.

Well the big buzz this week was the release of Mint, a web site to manage your money… and while it has the one killer feature I’ve been dreaming about (email alerts on your account activities), I just can’t bring myself to enter my account information (even though their security page ensures me it is safe).

I feel like George not wanting to give up his ATM PIN… but low balance email alerts are so tempting.

It was also funny this week how we went to bed telling each other “Don’t tase me, bro!” (after watching the late news) and in the morning it was hottest thing on the Net (with t-shirts).
